Politically Interested, but Not at the Polls?

With the project “Politically Interested, but Not at the Polls?” we examine, on behalf of the Bertelsmann Stiftung, why many young people in Germany do not vote despite political interest. We combine data analysis and focus groups to identify factors that encourage or hinder participation and derive recommendations for policymakers and civil society.
